LARA SINCLAIR

My name is Lara and I'm a filmmaker from Melbourne, Australia, currently based in London. I hold a Bachelor of Media Arts and Production from the University of Canberra, with eight years experience across documentary, commercial, and branded content. During that time I’ve worked with the NBA, Red Bull, the WNBL, The FA, Football Australia, Arsenal FC, Nine Network, Channel 10, Stan, NZZ Format, ESPN, Kayo, and Sony Australia.

I'm an experienced cinematographer and producer, with a flare for documentary and observational filmmaking. I'm particularly interested in telling stories centred around women’s sport, diversity, and social change.

Most recently, I worked as a camera operator and co-producer on feature-length documentary, Go Big (ESPN). Other credits include; camera operator on Revealed: Bribe Inc. (Stan Original), Cinematographer on Women and Formula 1 (NZZ Format), and assistant director on Lionesses: Down Under; a TV mini series following the English women’s football team at the 2023 Football World Cup.

I was also fortunate enough to attend Cannes Film Festival 2025 with the short film, ‘The Body’ (gaffer), selected for the Directors’ Fortnight category.
